Hello, I'm Alex.
I graduated from Hendrix College in 2016 with a Bachelor's in Biology.
I worked in Deb Hogan's amazing lab at Dartmouth for three years studying bacteria and fungi.
Now I am working towards a PhD in computational biology at UNC Chapel Hill.
I am a member of Amy Gladfelter's and Tim Elston's fantastic labs.
I do genetics, microscopy, and microbiology; and build computational models to explain my experimental work.
